Salon Management Congress Concludes 4th Edition in Delhi
Salon Management Congress (SMC) held alongside the Professional Beauty India shows is a one-of-its-kind business event that focusses on the trends and developments in India’s salon business. Organised and conducted by Beaute Espace Media and Professional Beauty India, the event brings together top experts, industry gurus, and successful professions from various avenues of the beauty industry, under one roof, to share their insights with a select audience of enterprising salon professionals and business owners.
The 4th edition of SMC was held in New Delhi at Pragati Maidan from 1 – 2 July 2019 and saw several eminent personalities gracing the conference as speakers and panellists. Day 1 of SMC Delhi 2019 was dedicated to extensive panel discussions covering some of the hottest topics in salon industry today – such as the Evolution of Salon Industry, Attrition & Pay Structure, Balancing Creativity & Business, Content Strategy & Digital Marketing, Budget Salon Renovations etc
The engaging sessions of Day 1 were moderated by Ritoo Jhha – Editor-in-Chief, Beauty Launchpad Magazine, while the stage hosted some of the most prominent names in Indian Salon Industry such as Dr Blossom Kochhar, Indra Ahluwalia of Grace Beauty Clinic, Pammy Kaul, Vikram Mohan of Spalon India, Raman Bharadwaj of Anjohn Salons, Pankaj Killa of Head Turners Salons, Samir Srivastava of Jean-Claude Biguine, Kohinoor Mandal, Sachin Kamat of Enrich Salons, Vibhoar of New Salons, Viki Takkar, Subham Virmani of Esskay Beauty Resources, Anjum Bharadwaj, Ruchi Vedwa of Vanity Salons, Savio John Pereira, Rachit Malhotra of Femina Plus Salon, and Deepak Jalhan.
Day 2 at Salon Management Congress Delhi 2019 treated the attending delegates with a set of exclusive workshops conducted by top salon management experts including Subham Virmani – Director, Sales & Strategy, Esskay Resources and Pankaj Killa, Founder-Director, Head Turners, who presented a detailed class on ‘The Art of Retailing in Salons. Pierre Rennette – Vice President, Special Markets & Export at Olivia Garden gave a short presentation from the international perspective. Young entrepreneur Ubaid Dandekar – Director, R Nail Lounge gave an insightful talk on the business of Nail Bars, followed by Veer Kaul – Director, Headmasters Salon speaking about Freelancing & Uberisation of the Salon Services.
The final session of the day and SMC Delhi 2019 was conducted by Geetanjali Agrawal – Head SSC Governance, National Skill Development Corporation, detailing the Government Mandate in Skill Development and how Beauty & Wellness Sector Skill Council is taking it Forward.
After yet another successful edition that threw light on many relevant topics in the salon industry currently, SMC has once again offered business owners and professionals an in-depth look on how to take their ventures ahead.
The next edition of SMC will be held in Mumbai, alongside Professional Beauty India Mumbai show, scheduled for September 2019.
