Dr Sheth’s raises 3 Crore funding from Mumbai Angels Network
Dr Sheth’s – a celebrity dermatologist-backed, vegan, luxury skincare line – recently raised a total of INR 4 Crore funding of which INR 3 Crore is courtesy to Mumbai Angels Network (MA Network). The Mumbai based firm will be using the funds to scale operations, build brand awareness, develop a new product line, and launch in international markets.
Commenting on the fund-raise, Founder & CEO Dr Aneesh Sheth said, “We are proud to partner with an institution like the MA Network and look forward to the value they bring in growing our brand. Dr.Sheth’s is a clean beauty brand safe for consumers and derived from natural ingredients and medically tested. I also recognize South Asian skin pigment requires a unique formulation and created a line that caters to this demographic.”

Founded in 2016, Dr Sheth’s range of personal care products – sunscreens, brightening cleansers, antioxidant moisturizers and toners, masks, eye creams, and peels – is said to be designed exclusively for the Indian skin. Embraces the clean beauty movement, the brand is vegan and claims to be free of harmful ingredients such as parabens, sulphates, or phthalates. The collection was developed by three generations of Indian skin doctors including celebrity dermatologist, Dr Rekha Sheth, and has several A-list Bollywood celebrities as clients.
