The previous editions of the SMC were hosted in Mumbai and Delhi, respectively. Both shows received heartening response from salon owners, who regard the Salon Management Congress as a key instrument that fills the gaping chasm between dreaming of having a salon and actually running one and for those running salons, how to drive business results sustainably. At SMC, business mantras are discussed and analysed and real-time solutions are provided to the everyday problems faced by entrepreneurs. Be it staff retention issues or the question of sustainability, each session at SMC is designed to address some of the core issues of the salon business.
While at the previous sessions, SMC has tackled concerns such as scaling up your business, dealing with staff, making the salon eco-friendly, etc, the current session will have panel discussions on the following topics: empowering women entrepreneurs, sourcing products, continuing education, salons getting tech-savvy, grooming your staff and editorial shoots & collections. The Mumbai leg of SMC is an unmissable event for anyone who aspires to make it big in the salon industry.
