The Cosmoprof Network Rolls On

After the pandemic, we are growing a lot. India is a very important market and we completely believe in it. Given that we are a very huge network, now we have 5 networks.India is the 4th one after Bologna, Hong Kong and Las Vegas, Followed by CBE ASEAN.
On Cosmoprof India 2022
We launched Cosmopack this year- we believe in it. There is a huge line up of private label exhibitors so for many of these exhibitors we will need to have visitors from abroad – international buyers.
Many European companies are interested to come here. Unfortunately this year we didn’t have too many companies at the show- I think that’s linked to the COVID situation. They were not ready.
The quality of the exhibitors is very high this year. I spoke to all Italian companies- we have 15 Italian companies and it’s the biggest country pavilion, I spoke to them and they are very satisfied.
The visitors as well are of very good quality though the numbers are not so high.
We are trying to help the western companies to understand that it maybe a relatively long path, but until they come here and meet people, it will not fructify into good partnership. Its not an easy country with the regulations too but things are changing.
On Future Events
From the international point of view, the network is growing. Now we havee a new show in Miami in 2024. and it will be the 6th destination. – it will be a full show- from ingredients to finished products – so we have two different destinations- 3 partners- Bologna Fiere. Informa & PBA.
Another destination should be the Middle East – maybe the area of the UAE. The current Beauty Eurasia is growing but the quality of exhibitors is not so good. Everybody knows that Cosmoprof is a quality brand.
On Indian Edition Going Forward
In India we need to increase the area of ingredients, and machinery also. We need to be here more strongly to let the exhibitors and visitors know that we are here for them. It provides an opportunity to meet buyers and companies from abroad. Its a very huge network. We have more than 200,000 companies working with us in Bologna so we can use it all around the world.
Its important to match right exhibitors and right visitors.
