Thanks to that special golden beauty glow, accentuated with fresh flowers on a chic chignon, the Big Boss fame Yuvika Chaudhary’s D-day beauty look turned out to be one of the prettiest we’ve seen in a while. Yuvika Chaudhary and Prince Narula recently tied the knot in a glittering ceremony in Mumbai, followed by a luxurious reception in Chandigarh. The #PriVika celebrations began with the mehendi night, when the bride stole our hearts in a lime green lehenga choli with gotta patti work. For her mane and makeup, she kept the boho vibe with tight curls, accentuated with a floral tiara. Her natural, fresh face completed the look.
Mumbai-based MUA Vishakha Verma Singh worked with Yuvika for all her functions. She said, “We wanted all her looks to be classy and different on each day. So, the major inspiration came from her outfits.”
Mehendi: Yuvika’s hair was curled short with a fresh, peachy make-up to complement the look. Her lips were kept nude to strike a balance between hair and make-up.
Ring Ceremony: The bride amped up the hair game with a messy ‘do. We also loved the way she mirrored the shine of her ensemble with golden highlighter on her cheekbones. The look was topped up with matte pink lips.
Sangeet: The bride wore a pristine white embellished lehenga. She nailed the look with a romantic braided bun, which was dressed up with fresh flowers. Decoding the beauty look, Vishaka says, “The sangeet look was all ‘bout a soft messy bun with white flowers and dewy makeup with a nude lipstick.”
D-Day: The gorgeous Yuvika walked down the aisle in a conventional red lehenga that made her look straight out of a fairy tale. Her tresses were pulled back in a high round bun with a strand of gajra draped around it. Nude lipstick and a rosy blush were her wedding signatures, however the MUA swiped off the lids with super-fine shimmer.
We applied Bobbi Brown foundation on her with lots of Jeffree Star highlighter mixed with Too Faced highlighter. Lip shades were from Huda Beauty and eyelashes were by Ardell. White carnations and mogras were used for her wedding looks. We didn’t use hair extensions for any of her looks, but there were stuffings for messy updos.”
